The good folks over at online news site TheDigitel Beaufort picked up on the Fit Walks being offered at the hotel’s in house gym, City Fit.

Here’s what they said:

City Fit, the gym located within Beaufort’s City Loft Hotel, is offering Fit Walks every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7 a.m.

• FIT Walks are led by a City FIT health specialist.
• participants will meet in the City Loft parking area @ 655AM FIT walk will begin and end in this location
• $15/person regardless of Get FIT member, or hotel guest
• beginner, intermediate, and advanced ability groups welcome
• body weight and core strengthening exercises will be added into walk for intermediate and advanced participants.

If you haven’t heard, we’re churning out homemade gelato downstairs at City Java & News.

Whenever possible we make our gelato with local ingredients.

The Sanctuary Pool at Cat Island

Staff here at City Loft Hotel are pleased to announce that we’ve reached a deal with The Sanctuary on Cat Island that will allow us to offer many of their amenities as part of your stay here at the hotel.

The amenities are at a private facility just a short drive from the City Loft property.

• Sanctuary will allow City Loft Hotel guests access to the Sanctuary pool. Guests will be allowed to charge food and beverages at the pool to their City Loft Hotel account.
• City Loft guests also booking golf rounds on Cat Island will receive a discount on golf. The discount varies by season.

• City Loft Guests may play tennis for $10 per person/hr and must book through the Hotel.

Workation at City Loft Hotel in Beaufort, SC

There is an interesting article in USA Today this week regarding hotels that are attracting business travelers by offering vacation and recreation options for their children and spouses.

City Loft, a Beaufort SC Hotel, is a great boat destination

We here at City Loft often here people ask: “How are you different from the other hotels in Beaufort, SC?”

There are several ways we can and will answer that, but here’s just one example.

This past weekend we has three couples visit us by boat from Charleston. They decided they wanted to stay with us, so we sent someone down to the Beaufort Marina to pick them up along with their luggage (and six sets of golf clubs.)

We took care of them like we would a good friend or a member of the family. We provided door-to-door, or rather door-to-boat service, and we’re happy to do it for anyone out there who’d rather visit us by sea rather than road.

So if you’re just taking a day trip from Charleston or making your way back up North or down South, give us a shout and let us talk to you about how we can make you feel right at home.
