I came into town for business and couldn't believe the accommodations and time I had at City Loft. It's perfectly located next to 3-4 great restaurants. I felt such at home I'm going to come back with my wife and family!! City Java is excellent too.
What a perfect place to stay! It was very comfortable, clean and a great location. The staff was wonderful! The bathroom had a rain shower and a wonderful soaking tub, even a tv you could watch while soaking!
City Loft is different from your ordinary hotel. It's classy, it's chic, it's comfortable....the staff are amazing and full of southern hospitality. We met the owner during our last visit and he was so very nice and wanted to make sure everything was satisfactory with our stay.....and of course, our stay was short but great, as always. The rooms are great, comfortable bed and a great soaking tub. Being in walking distance of basically everything in Beaufort is a plus. We got married in Beaufort 16 years ago and we love the quaintness and charm of this small historical town. We try to visit often and now we always stay at City Loft. I've been here twice and I've had the best experience while on my travels each time I went. I wish they had more than one of these around the U.S. The restaurants in town are within walking distance, that all of which are great just like this hotel. I recommend Q on Bay or Luther's if you do go.
Loved this hotel!! The customer service is outstanding, the rooms are fun and modern and the bathrooms are amazing!! The staff was friendly, accommodating and quick to respond to any requests. I also give it a A+ for cleanliness. The location is perfect, a one block stroll to Bay Street, the waterfront and several great restaurants. The only negatives for me were as follows : Being that it is a renovated "motel", the rooms are small and cooled only by the single "under the window" type units, so the air doesn't cool evenly and doesn't reach the bathroom, making it a little hot and stuffy in there. Not much of a sacrifice considering the price, location and quality. I would stay there again and will definitely recommend it to friends. Stayed August 2016, traveled as a couple
From the moment we checked in to City Loft We felt comfortable Stephanie front desk manager couldn't be more accommodating and super friendly. Loved the walk in shower and soaking tub lots of extra fluffy towels as well as small fridge with comp water. Hotel is near everything check out their great package deals that are a true bargain we can't wait to return! Stayed August 2016, traveled as a couple
This is a great place to stay in downtown BFT! You can park your card for a while and walk to lots of really good restaurants, the historic district, and the waterfront park. Lots of pillows on the bed. A mini fridge with water. The room has a really nice shower and a tub. Complimentary bikes if you don't want to walk. 20 minutes to Hunting Island. 15 minutes to Parris Island. Coffee shop on the premises. Can't wait to go back. Stayed August 2016, traveled as a couple
Wife and I had a lovely experience at City Loft. Staff were gracious and friendly, and location is fantastic- well within walking distance of some delicious dining establishments. Take advantage of the bicycles and tool around the historic district- it's a must! Stayed May 2016, traveled as a couple
We really love this little place! This is the 2nd stay for us and it was just as wonderful as the 1st time! GREAT location on the edge of an old neighborhood and short walk to the waterfront. Smaller rooms but EVERYTHING we needed.
We stopped in Beaufort on our way to Fripp Island. Where should I start? Is it the bed that is so comfortable none of us moved the entire night and slept like babies? Or is it the soaking tub that literally took all the stress of our travels away? The location is ideal: walking distance to everything and they even offer bikes for a real locals-style tour of one of the most beloved towns in the United States. Other perks: super-friendly staff (24 hours), red and white wine IN the rooms (available for purchase) and...drumroll please...City Java - the onsite coffee shop that serves THE best coffee and biscuits in town (homemade). As a non-dairy person, I appreciated the soy, almond and coconut milk options. Grab a perfectly curated souvenir on the way out! Love and love. Stayed June 2016, traveled with family
